SUFFOLK, VIRGINIA (September 2, 2025) Stillwater Tea House, a cherished destination for traditional English afternoon tea, officially celebrated the grand opening of its new home at Rose Cottage, 2453 Pruden Blvd, Suffolk, VA, on Friday, August 29. The event marked the return of a beloved Suffolk establishment.

Originally founded in 2014 by Diane Kephart and joined by Amy Ford in the Towns End House on Prentis Street, Stillwater Tea House quickly became known for its carefully curated teas, freshly prepared sandwiches, and signature pastries. After closing in 2022, the tea house has reopened under the ownership of Amy Ford, who has infused the experience with her lifelong passion for the art of tea service.

“My partners, Rowanne Stephenson and Rachel Austin, and I were honored to welcome so many familiar faces and new guests to our grand opening. We are thrilled to share this experience with the Suffolk community once again.”

Stillwater Tea House operates as a reservations-only establishment, offering an intimate experience for guests.
